Medium: Acrylic Paint on Professional Drawing Paper. This art piece is an abstract painting depicting frustrating and angry emotions being pushed away by a bubble of denial.

Medium: Acrylic Paint on Canvas. This was an art piece created during the pandemic lockdown, speaking to that specific time.

Monkey on My Back

Medium: Dual-tip markers & colored pencils on a sketchbook. I am challenged with ADD and some aspects of ADHD. I wanted to portray this through my art depicting the struggles that myself and many other people may be feeling.

Snail

Medium: Charcoal on Newsprint Paper. This art piece was completed in December 2019 as part of a winter program at Montserrat College of Art. This combines two different genres - observational and abstract - into one piece.

Under Desk Teddy on Bristol

Medium: Acrylic Paint. This painting was based off a photo that was taken for a Visual Language class. This piece was for practice regarding observation.

Silly Rabbit

Medium: Gouache on Bristol. This piece was made when I was fairly new to the Gouache medium that had recently been introduced to me. The Trix Rabbit was a childhood favorite of mine, and I thought he would be the perfect subject for beginning one of my first gouache pieces.

Usidore The Blue

Medium: Marker, Sharpie on Multimedia Sketchbook. I wanted to give Usidore the Blue from Hello From the Magic Tavern a style that harked back to a more comic style that’s not shown as often in modern days. The style of the work was also based on Rankin Bass’s way of writing in their films.

Obs. to Concept Final

Medium: Charcoal and White Chalk on Drawing Paper This piece was one of the most challenging pieces I found myself completing in the 1st semester of Sophomore year. My biggest focuses were to contrast the dark shadows found on the shading with striking highlights to help make the piece pop.

Body Figure Warmups

Medium: Charcoal on Drawing Paper. Much of this piece consists of drawing warmups colliding with one another while practicing the human figure. I found myself allured to these sketches due to how the poses compliment one another as if they were dancing.

Gouache Self Portrait

Medium: Gouache on Bristol. Creating a Gouache self portrait was first assigned in my Media Techniques class, along with two other paintings of my sisters.

Sunset Shadows

Medium: Gouache on Wooden Plank. The image itself is based on a photo I had taken at a graduation party in my hometown. It was a happy accident for the black shadow to smudge on the sunset sky, which I have no problem with.

Bright Blue Bird

Medium: Gouache on Bristol The Blue Bird was based on a taxidermy piece from The Harvard Museum of Natural History. The Blue bird along with 2 other pieces found in the museum were also painted in order to help study different animal anatomies..

Copley Square Studies

Medium: Watercolor on Sketch Notebook Many, if not all the studies were based on the overall environment of the Copley Square park area.
